Except you don'tĪs the game does away with the controls and makes them all target practice golf style challenges, like hit the volleyball into the marked out area, hit your fishing lure into a marked out area, etc etc. In the final mission, you play all 10 sports in an epic tournament. It's not even clear that you've actually beaten the game! I had to check a walkthrough. Many of the other sports are paper thin and felt like trow away additions made to justify the Sports Story name. The golf is still as solid as in Golf Story. You could argue this is better than being sign posted everywhere, but being lost is not fun to me. I got frequently lost from things not being explained well and a lack of map or way point markers. The writing is still witty and kept me engaged.
I did see a number of graphical glitches, the occasional unusual or inaccurate result, a few spelling mistakes. I didn't experience a single game breaking bug or crash throughout. That's not exactly a glowing recommendation is it, so let me explain. Well I didn't hate it and most of the bugs are superficial.
